ABOUT BILL WHITLOW

My interest in photography has stretched 3 decades. First as an enthusiastic shutter-bug, I became fascinated with the delicate craft of taking good pictures. As my curiosity grew, so too did my appreciation and dedication to portraying my subjects in a realistic and positive light. My experience having grown over these many years, from taking pictures of sail boats to sea gulls, I found myself gravitating more and more to capturing people in the simple pleasures of their lives. Whether it be family portraits or wedding days and nights, you can be assured that I’ll be there to create a memory you and yours will never have to forget!

“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.”
ANSEL ADAMS
“There is only you and your camera. The limitations in your photography are in yourself, for what we see is what we are.”
ERNST HASS
“Black and white are the colors of photography. They symbolize the alternatives of hope and despair to which mankind is subjected.”
ROBERT FRANK
